Startup & Entrepreneurship

I began my career co-founding and contributing to startups at Porto Digital, crafting innovative solutions in event space rentals and customer loyalty programs. Incubated at one of LATAM's largest innovation hubs, I honed skills in rapid prototyping, user-centric design, and multitasking to deliver impactful products with limited resources, gaining expertise in bootstrapping, agile methodologies, and lean startup principles.

Corporate Days

After four years as an entrepreneur, I sought experience in larger corporations, landing a role at one of Brazil's biggest brokers. Since then, I’ve led end-to-end design for complex, high-impact projects at XP Investimentos, GoDaddy, and Skillshare.

Focused on crafting cohesive and holistic experiences, I’ve worked with design systems, complex dashboards, and multi-device POS, driving operational excellence through design ops.

I’ve perfected my ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, balancing business goals, user needs, and technical constraints to deliver innovative solutions impacting millions of users.

Evolving the Platform: From Simple Classifications to a Complex Three-Tiered Taxonomy

We embarked on a thorough revision of the onboarding experience, delving into user behavior, mapping journeys, and identifying pain points. Our research extended beyond our platform, benchmarking over 20 others for inspiration and best practices across web and mobile experiences. We crafted multiple flows and wireframes, validating each to ensure a resonant experience for our diverse community of learners and creators.

A Transformed Onboarding Experience: Tailored Pathways for New and Existing Users

For newcomers, we designed an intuitive process to explore their interests within our expansive taxonomy, offering personalized course recommendations from the start. For existing users, we created a seamless transition that preserved their preferences while introducing new possibilities. This laid the foundation for future innovations, including pre-paywall onboarding and enhanced email nurture flows, extending the personalized journey beyond onboarding.

Pre-Paywall Onboarding

Onboarding typically occurred post-paywall, which likely contributed to user drop-off. We experimented with pre-paywall onboarding to showcase our product and guide users toward membership.

Email Nurture Flow

We bridged user onboarding with email nurturing, creating a cohesive experience that connected user actions on the platform to tailored email communication.
